I would like to thank the BSC for working with me to get the right mask and nose piece. I have been using my Respironics unit for a year. I do feel better and my blood pressure has come down. The whole experience does take some getting used to. You must be patient and kind to yourself. If you feel you are getting frustrated, take off the mask and try later or the next day. Remember sometime with the mask is better than no time! It took me about a month to adjust to the noise, air, and feel of the equipment. I purchased new pillows, memory foam type, and they were much more comfortable to me. I recently switched masks and my new one is much more suitable to my facial structure, different strikes for different folks. I regard this as a work in progress. As new products hit the market keep trying them. BSC is so willing to let you try new masks. Carolyn at the MP office kept working with me until I felt I found a mask and nose piece that worked really well for me. I am very happy with the BSC. |
