To whom it may concern,

My name is Michelle Burtnett. I am a 31 year old mother of 4 and wife to a US Army enlisted soldier. I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge your Salinas branch. I was a little hesitant as most first timers would be about going some where to sleep for testing purposes. I found your Salinas location to be meticulous, cozy and nicely furnished. I was immediately, warmly greeted by the Technologist, Starrie, at the door. From the moment I walked into the building, all of my prior hesitation went away. Your company has done quite a great job taking the sterile, doctors office feeling out of your practice. My interaction with Starrie made me feel very much as if I was in the company of family or a long time friend. She made the transition so much easier with her kind, friendly and professional manner. We enjoyed conversation, laughed and accomplished all the goals of my study. This was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable. I haven’t received my results yet regarding my testing as I need to visit with my Doctor. I am most confident my testing was preformed by the best! Thank you for such a pleasant experience, and much thanks to Starrie for her outstanding dedication to her job.

Sincerely,

Michelle Burtnett

I cannot tell you what a difference actually getting a night of sleep felt like. I feel like I was stuck on a foggy day in Pacifica and suddenly the fog lifts and its sunny and I am at the Taco Bell on the beach.

I picked up the machine last night in Los Gatos . If you are going to be successful, attitude is everything. If you’re worried about appearances over things that are far more important such as getting an actual night of rest then it may be a difficult adjustment.

If you have sleep apnea you may stop breathing for anywhere from fifteen to ninety seconds. This is then followed by briefly waking up before trying to fall back to sleep.

Got the machine back to my house and hooked everything up. It was far easier than I expected and the mask was adjustable. Turned it on and got ready for bed. It took some getting used to but I felt worlds different when I woke up this morning. I felt clear headed and more energized than any time that I could remember.

I was nervous about the sleep lab experience and worried about the treatment but only regret not doing it years earlier.

Feel free to share my experiences with others, post it on your website and they can e-mail me at marcus@marcusronaldi.com

Thank You,

I am one of your new patient to Bay sleep clinic for about 3 months ago. For years of having sleep problem, like sleep APNEA and sleep paralysis, I had never slept better since I had used the CPAP system. No more interrupted sleep, no more having problems waking up.

The clinic has outstanding staff, very pleasant and very informative certified nursing assistant. Although my Doctor highly recommends the clinic, I also highly recommend this clinic to all future patients. Since I had used the CPAP, my blood pressure had also gone done!

Please use my comments for future Patients,

Thanks to the Bay Sleep team!

I would like to thank the BSC for working with me to get the right mask and nose piece. I have been using my Respironics unit for a year. I do feel better and my blood pressure has come down.

The whole experience does take some getting used to. You must be patient and kind to yourself. If you feel you are getting frustrated, take off the mask and try later or the next day. Remember sometime with the mask is better than no time!

It took me about a month to adjust to the noise, air, and feel of the equipment. I purchased new pillows, memory foam type, and they were much more comfortable to me. I recently switched masks and my new one is much more suitable to my facial structure, different strikes for different folks. I regard this as a work in progress. As new products hit the market keep trying them. BSC is so willing to let you try new masks. Carolyn at the MP office kept working with me until I felt I found a mask and nose piece that worked really well for me. I am very happy with the BSC.
